DAY 1 FRIDAY (LD)
Cains, Undara, Georgetown
Depart Cairns and travel over the Tropical Tablelands, past the Wind Turbines at Ravenshoe to Undara. After lunch enjoy a guided tour with a Savannah Guide through these 190,000 year old Lava Tubes. Overnight Georgetown.
DAY 2 SATURDAY (BLD)
Croydon, Karumba
Following an early start we visit the Historic township of Croydon. After a walking tour with a Local Guide we lunch by the Norman River. Late afternoon we join a Sunset Cruise on the Norman River at Karumba. Overnight Karumba.

DAY 3 SUNDAY (BLD)
Burketown
Departing Karumba we travel through Normanton to Burke and Wills Northernmost Campsite, on to Leichhardt Falls and across the " Plains of Promise" to Burketown. Overnight Adel's Grove.
DAY 4 MONDAY (BLD)
Riversleigh Fossil Field, Lawn Hill National Park
Travel via Gregory Downs to fascinating Riversleigh. Mid-afternoon we arrive at the oasis of Lawn Hill Gorge giving time to explore this Wildlife Haven. Overnight Adel's Grove.

DAY 5 TUESDAY (BLD)
Lawn Hill, Normanton
Our morning is free to continue exploration of this wonderful area. An early lunch and we head east to meet The Matilda Highway at Burke and Wills Roadhouse for the journey to Normanton for our overnight accommodation.
DAY 6 WEDNESDAY (BLD)
Gulflander Train, Cobbold Gorge
All aboard the famous Gulflander for a memorable trip to Blackbull Siding. We lunch at Lake Belmore and visit the Cumberland Chimney before reaching our overnight destination, picturesque Cobbold Gorge.
DAY 7 THURSDAY (BLD)
Cobbold Gorge
A full day of outdoor enjoyment and interest as we explore this magnificent gorge with its ancient landscape and cruise the secluded waterway guided by a Savannah Guide. Overnight Cobbold.
DAY 8 FRIDAY (BLD)
Chillagoe
Today we visit Einasleigh and on to Mount Surprise, then past outback cattle stations, the settlements of Bullock Creek, Ootan and Almaden before arriving in Chillagoe. Overnight Chillagoe.
DAY 9 SATURDAY (BL)
Chillagoe Caves, Tyconnell Mine, Savannahlander Train, Cairns
The day begins with a tour of one of Chillagoes fascinating limestone caves before visiting the Tyconnell Mine, a restored working gold mine of the late 1800's. Mid afternoon we board the Savannahlander Train at Dimbulah for your journey to Cairns.
