 DAY 1 SUNDAY (LD) CAIRNS, TYRCONNELL MINE, CHILLAGOE CAVES
Depart Cairns 7.00am and travel via Kuranda Range to Mareeba and west towards the Gulf country. Visit Tyrconnell Mine, a restored working gold mine of the late 1800's. Join a fascinating tour of one of Chillagoes amazing limestone caves. We overnight in Chillagoe.
DAY 2 MONDAY (BLD) OOTAN ROAD, UNDARA, GEORGETOWN
Assured of a unique place in the rich fabric of Australian natural history, Undara Lava Tubes provides a visit of interest and fascination. Enjoy a guided tour with a Savannah Guide. Overnight Georgetown.
Gulflander Train

DAY 3 TUESDAY (BLD) CROYDON, SUNSET CRUISE, KARUMBA
An early start to the day and we arrive at Croydon for a walking tour of this historic town with a local guide. Lunch by the Norma River on the way to our Sunset Cruise at Karumba. Overnight Karumba.
DAY 4 WEDNESDAY (BLD) NORMANTON, GULFLANDER TRAIN, FORSAYTH.
We depart for Normanton to board the famous Gulflander train for a memorable trip to Blackbull or Croydon. We visit Cumberland Chimmneys and overnight at Forsayth.
Cobbold Gorge

DAY 5 THURSDAY (BLD) COBBOLD GORGE.
A day of interest and outdoor enjoyment. We explore the magnificent Cobbold Gorge by boat with a Savannah Guide. Overnight accommodation is at Cobbold Gorge - ensuite.
DAY 6 FRIDAY (BLD) EINASLEIGH, MT SURPRISE.
Today we travel via Einasleigh and Copperfield Gorge on board the Savannahlander Train and then onto Mt Surprise for overnight stay.
DAY 7 SATURDAY (B) MT SURPRISE, SAVANNAHLANDER TRAIN, CAIRNS.
Today another great rail journey on the Savannahlander Train (lunch at own cost today). Arrive in Cairns at approximately 6:30pm. Tour ends with transfer to your pre-arranged accommodation.
