Tourism is not a “9 to 5” industry. Working for extended periods on different rosters is normal. A guide will work 10-14 hours per day and will spend their spare time researching to build their own destination knowledge.
Customer service and safety is the central focus of any role with Oz Tours Safaris, and for tour guides and hostess positions, the majority of your time will be spent away from your home.
All staff who work for Oz Tours Safaris need to be able to legally work in Australia.
All tour staff must have a current First Aid certificate. Tour guides must have a clean, current Queensland Medium Rigid vehicle licence, or the ability to obtain one, along with the mandatory driver authorisation.
